OUR PEOPLE
David has been a chartered surveyor for over 25 years and worked in the retail property industry for the last 30 years. After a spell at Healey and Baker in London the next 20 years were primarily working inhouse for Halfords and Somerfield in acquiring, disposing, developing, asset managing and creating value from property assets. In addition, he has also managed large multi let estates and generated large capital receipts by through active management.
The last 10 years have been spent in private practice servicing the requirements of retailers, and developers. We are involved in letting retail parks, acquiring and disposing of in town, out of town, neighbourhood and roadside retail opportunities. We acquire and develop convenience stores in addition, we work with house builders in undertaking mixed use developments.
Alongside David is Robin Johnson who was a co-founder of Johnson Fellows, a company he set up in 1984 which he built to become one of the largest retail specialist property agency firms outside of London. Robin has had over 40 years of being highly active in all elements of the property market.
